Internet service was restored to the Department of Education’s Testing and Evaluation Office in Tafuna, and online tests for students took place yesterday, Monday, as scheduled.

There was a break in at the office Sunday and suspects stole internet routers and switches. Security cameras were also destroyed, doors were kicked in and every drawer in the office was ransacked.

Assistant Director for Testing and Evaluation, Sam Urhle said, fortunately, they were able to restore internet service so that about 60 students were able to take online tests Monday.

The next online test is TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) on Wednesday.
