Back on Track is launching a series, “We all have a story to tell,” this coming Friday at Jessica’s Place at the Fagatogo Square.

Author Nafanua Manns from Amouli will talk about her book, “Speak Up and Be free,” which is about how sexual abuse, assault and violence have impacted her life. Her quest for freedom brought her to the revelation that not only does she have to face these issues from her past to bring freedom to her own life, but also how courageously telling her story will help to bring healing to so many others.

The event is from 1 to 3 pm. Space is limited so those planning to attend are asked to RSVP at backontrack684@gmail.com or call 633-2222.

Also coming up in the, “We all have a story to tell,” series is a three day workshop titled, “Healing thru Writing,” with Mary Anne Peck. The dates for that workshop are June 21, June 28 and July 5.
