Ms Fe’a says the survey will gather information on people who have been affected by ciguatera, what fish they ate, where it was caught and they will also be sampling places where the toxins are found.

The research is being carried out across the Pacific under the Pacific Ciguatera Network. Survey forms are available online at the website of the Pacific Ciguatera Network and Ms Fea can also be contacted at tfea@hawaii.edu
