Those waiting for packages and cargo on the weekly cargo flight operated by Pacific Air Cargo will have to wait until next Monday to receive them.
Pacific Air Cargo did not have a flight on Saturday and there is no make up flight until next Monday.
The cargo flight is switching from Saturday to Monday to allow paving of Pago Pago International Airport. And this will be the schedule for an indefinite period, according to a spokesperson for Fax Cargo, local agents for Pacific Air Cargo.
The spokesperson said that the change in schedule is at the request of the airport as the contractor doing the airport reconstruction will do the runway paving mainly on weekends.
The spokesperson said that the change in schedule was made known to their customers more than a month ago.
