All’s set for Blue Sky’s Fourth of July fautasi race tomorrow.

The three mile race is set for 7:30 am with nine fautasi competing.

BlueSky CEO and President, Justin Tuiasosopo, says in case the weather is unfavorable they may shorten the race or delay it. But for now he’s keeping the faith that the weather will be fine.

Tuiasosopo says there’s been some heavy brainstorming on how to ensure a fair start.

Appearing on the Morning Show today, he explained how tomorrow’s race will start.

Tuiasosopo says all fautasi captains have been told that if they are in front of the imaginary starting line they will be disqualified. After the race the committee will review drone footage and will only make the results official the next day.

The fautasi race is part of BlueSky’s 25th anniversary celebration.

The race will be live-streamed on BlueSky’s FaceBook page and will also be aired on V103 Radio.
