On Monday, Tony Briggs, Interim Regional Chief Executive Officer of the Red Cross for the Pacific Islands Region, met with Lt. Governor La’apui Talauega E.V. Ale
The American Samoa Red Cross team, including Vaito’a Hans Langkilde, Leilani Tuamoheloa-Tilo, and Lipea Uta Sui, also participated in the meeting.
Lt. Governor La’apui welcomed the team and presented gifts to Tony Briggs in appreciation of his visit.
Tony Briggs, who oversees operations for the Pacific Islands region—including Hawaii, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa—will be on island for several days to work closely with the American Samoa Red Cross.
The meeting reaffirmed the collaboration and shared commitment to supporting communities in need under the umbrella of the United States Federal Grant.
