It’s the third day of the 12th Festival of Pacific Arts in Guam and media in the US territory are all covering the lack of water for delegations during the opening ceremony Sunday night.

Doug Tuigamala reports that morning radio shows broadcast call ins to the hosting committee about the lack of water and food for delegations that night.

Guam is experiencing a drought and some residents have blamed the host committee for not planning ahead and making sure the island had enough water supplies for the increase in population.

Almost 3,000 people are attending the Guam Festival  which lasts two weeks.

Doug chatted with the News Director of the Sorenson Media Group in Guam, Clynt Ridgell about the water shortage.
