Witnesses report that a police officer was injured in an accident near the Veterans Memorial Stadium early Saturday morning.
Passersby said they saw an officer on a stretcher and a motorcycle was on the ground.
This was around 5 am as the Tafuna JROTC was holding a fundraising run.
Efforts to obtain information from Commissioner of Public Safety Save Liuato Tuitele about the accident were unsuccessful.

More than one vehicle was involved and there was a collision that resulted in some of the passengers being admitted to the LBJ Hospital.
As of Friday the most seriously injured person was still in serious but stable condition at LBJ Hospital.
