Aua’s Paepaeulupoo was the fastest fautasi in the two heats of the 2017 Flag Day race today.
As was announced before today’s races, the seven fautasi with the best race times will qualify for the championship heat.
After the two heats today, Pago Pago Aeto and Fealofani Samoa, two power houses in fautasi racing in past years, were eliminated.

4. Matasaua 36-35-09.

6. Iseula 37-55-12.
7. Fetu o le Afiafi 39-12-23.

9.Felofani Samoa 41-02-23.
Tomorrow, the junior fautasi race is set for 8 am between the Eastern District fautasi rowed by Fagaitua High School, God is Great rowed by Pago Pago, Fagatogo #2 and Nu’uuli #2.
