Governor Lolo Moliga pays tribute to mothers saying “they are the essence and the personification of goodness in our lives.”\

In his Mothers Day message the governor says the common expressions of love and appreciation which have been acquainted with Mothers Day such as the gifting of flowers, cards jewelry new clothes or family feasts “will never fully portray the emotions of love and special bonds we have developed with our mothers.”

“Mothers,” he said, “have been the foundation of our strength, the torch which lit and will continue to light our life’s path, our source of comfort and motivation, the spring of love from which we have drawn throughout our lives.”

Governor goes on to says that, “Mothers have been the shining example of complete devotion and sense of sacrifice to spare us from enduring any physical or emotional pain, the basis of family stability and harmony, the teacher and the source of our spiritual values.

“Mothers remind us that without God, full achievement of our expectations will not be possible.”

The governor said, “We thank God for having mothers as part of our lives.

All good that we have and are reflects on our mothers teaching guidance, sacrifice and especially endless and abundant love

“We humbly beseech God to be generous with his blessing over our mothers for they are the essence and the personification of goodness in our lives.”

On behalf of First Lady Cynthia Malala Moliga, Lt Governor Lemanu and their families, Governor Lolo wishes all mothers of American Samoa a blessed and safe Mothers Day.
