
Two engineers from the American Samoa Power Authority made presentations at the Pacific Water and Wastewater Association (PWWA) conference in Apia yesterday.
Matamua Katrina Mariner and Chris Schuler discussed Groundwater Exploration and Sustainable Management of Groundwater Resources on Tutuila.
Seven employees of the Water Division of ASPA are attending the PWWA conference at Sheraton Aggies Hotel at Vaisigano, along with Executive Director of ASPA, Utu Abe Malae.
A similar number of employees participated in the Pacific Power Association meeting, also in Apia last week.
Utu said in an interview with KHJ News that participation of ASPA personnel at regional utilities conference are important for improving the water services ASPA delivers to the public.
