The American Samoa Power Authority received several awards at the 2018 Pacific Water and Wastewater Association Conference that was held in Noumea, New Caledonia last week.
ASPA received the
- Most Improved Water Utility Award
- Highest Women Engineers Rate Award
- Gender Salary Balance Award and
- Young Water Professional Award which was won by Helen Pulou.
ASPA’s representatives at the Noumea meeting were Water Division Manager William Spitzenberg and Water Engineer Helen Pulou.
ASPA is a founding member of the Pacific Water and Wastewater Association whose first Director was the late Chuck Filiaga of Amaua.
