Fagaitua High School has scheduled a Viking Family Serv ice Thursday for one of their own, junior Meleiga Kome Letoe.
He is the 16 year-old from Tula Village who’s presumed dead after a swimming outing last Thursday evening.
Fagaitua High School Principal Suaese Pooch Taase said the service is from 12 to 2:00pm at the Fagaitua gym and parents of Mr Letoe have been invited.
Taase said a pastor has been invited to speak to the student body and deliver advice and encouragement during this sad time.
Meleiga was a member of the junior class. Princpal Taase says he was a quiet student cherished by his Viking family.
Melaiga disappeared while trying to help his two brothers who were caught in strong currents while swimming last Thursday evening in Tula.
The search for him was called off yesterday.
