StarKist Co. has announced that Mr. Jason Kim is being named General Manager of StarKist Samoa, effective May 1, 2019.
According to a press statement from the company, Mr. Kim previously held the position of Deputy General Manager at StarKist Samoa; he brings more than 27 years of operations experience to the StarKist Samoa facility.
He will be replacing Director & General Manager Sangdong Kwon, who is returning to Dongwon.
The press release said Mr. Kwon has been an outstanding leader and valued member of the StarKist Samoa team since 2014.
Starkist President & CEO Andrew Choe said, “We appreciate Mr. Kwon’s contributions and commitment to StarKist Samoa over the years, and wish him the very best in future endeavors as he returns to Dongwon.”
