Art, poetry and song were all on display last night at the first Music and Art Exhibition at Samoana High School.

One of the teachers behind the exhibition, Ammon Fepuleai, said they hope it will be an annual event.

Parents, faculty and members of the community who viewed the paintings and heard the poems and songs by the talented Sharks were simply wowed.

The art work sold very fast in a silent auction and one person paid $250 for one of the paintings. The artists were given the sale proceeds.

Fepuleai, who is a math teacher but has an art background, said the paintings started as a group project and then the students came up with their individual pieces.
