American Samoa in Top 10 at Solar Sprint Competion

Team American Samoa placed 7th in the Junior Solar Sprint Competition out of 100+ middle school teams across the nation.

Edrik Scanlan Gaisoa, Daniel Hyuk Wang, Bianca Alenna Serrano and Petania Fou Sagaga of Pacific Horizons represented American Samoa after winning the local STEAM competition.

The national competition took placed in Maryland at the 2019 TSA National Conference from June 28 to July 2nd .

The local students gained from attending the conference which offered opportunities for  enhancing personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through intracurricular/extra-activities, competitions, and other programs.
