There were not too many hunters but from all accounts Tutuila island had a heavy palolo rise last night.
One popular palolo hunting spot, Alega, had only about 20 palolo fishers last night according to owner of Tisa’s Barefoot Bar.
She posted on Face Book, as usual when no one shows up the palolo wise was huge.
“Where are all the palolo hunters. Tonight was a huge harvest and only 20 stayed to welcome the harvest of 2019,” said Tisa.
She said when they got tired they left only one happy fisherman had the sea all to himself scooping up the catch.
KHJ News also received reports that palolo fishers on boats came home with buckets fall.
