The two inter Samoa airlines, Samoa Airways and Talofa Airways, have advised passengers that today is the final day that they will be using Fagalii Airport.
Effective tomorrow which is Janaury 1 st , 2020 in Smaoa, all flights will be from and to Faleolo International Airport.
The Samoa Government is turning Fagalii Airport into a vehicle inspection site and test driving location similar to the OMV field. The facility will be operated by the Ministry of Police.
Neither airline has announced what their new fares will be for the longer route.
