The Lee Auditorium was covered with science projects by kindergarten and elementary schools students from public and private schools.
More than 160 projects are displayed and the students had to answer judges questions this morning before parents and the public were able to view their experiments and displays.
Judges commented that each year the entries get more sophisticated.
Some of the projects we viewed looked at using plastic for construction of roads, which golf club can drive the ball the farthest, the most popular electronic games, the best natural water purifier, using plastic to build roads, moldy bread and growing tomatoes.
Troy Ilaoa of Samoa Baptist Academy experimented on growing tomatoes.
