The American Samoa Bar Association has awarded $2500 in scholarships to three current law students of Samoan ancestry.

Joseph Langkilde
Joseph V. Langkilde, a First Year Student at the Harvard Law School. Langkilde is a 2013 graduate of Faasao-Marist High School and is from Tafuna, American Samoa. He is the son of J. Victor Langkilde and Gwen Tauiliili-Langkilde.
Ian Tapu, a third-year student at the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii – Manoa. Mr. Tapu has roots in Faleniu and Poloa.

Jazmine Tapusoa, a third year student at the J. Reuben Law School at the Brigham Young University in Provo Utah. Tapusoa is the granddaughter of Dr. Uimaiitua Poloai of Olosega, Manu’a.
