A number of former employees ofhow many covid have now been charged for fraud and theft as servants.
A public notice published by Samoa Sports Lotto, said staff had been referred to police following an internal investigation.
“Samoa Sports Lotto had lodged criminal complaints against a number of staff employed as tellers/sales operators that have been implicated for defrauding and stealing from Samoa Sports Lotto and its TMS games customers,” said the notice.
The company took aim at local media and its handling of the matter.
“It is unfortunate that this investigation has been hampered and pre-empted by unbalanced reporting by certain media outlets.”
The notice claims this has undermined and harmed the credibility of Samoa Sports Lotto and its TMS partners and their games.
Samoa Sports Lotto sells several TMS games in Samoa like Tattslotto, Powerball, Oz Lotto as well as some scratch card games.
TMS is an Australian gaming company based in Melbourne and is sold worldwide as well as some Pacific Island countries including Samoa.
