When Fagaitua High School conducted their outreach on hybrid learning for parents they were able to get information on households that do not have computers, ipads or other devices and/or don’t have internet access.
Hybrid learning which combines classroom instruction and online courses, will be the norm in the new school year.
The Department of Education is providing chrome books, ipads, and tablets to those students without, and for those without internet at home, ASTCA is providing mifi.
As coordinator of Fagaitua High School’s Outreach, Faugagana Fagaava explains there’ll also be internet centers set up in the villages.
