Director of Health Motusa Tuileama Nua was presented an award for outstanding leadership by the staff of the Maternal and Children Health Division yesterday.
The presentation was made at a meeting of stakeholders of the MCH Program at Sadie’s by the Sea yesterday.
One of the Program Directors Ipu Eliapo said the MCH Program has expanded leaps and bounds in terms of funding, staffing and services under Motusa’s leadership.
And this has contributed to the delivery of health care services for mothers and children.
Ms Eliapo said the stakeholders meeting was an appropriate time to recognize the Health Director as he was ending his term.
