The Medicaid State Agency released a schedule for passengers on the upcoming flight to Honolulu on Monday.
In a media release Thursday, it was explained that those traveling will need to go to the Medicaid Office on Sunday at 12 noon to pick to submit their Health Questionnaire and receive the QR code required for entry into Hawaii.
Medicaid officials also reminded travelers that the Dept. of Health’s Tafuna Family Health Clinic will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. that day to administer COVID-19 tests for passengers transiting to the US mainland and needing test results for their final destinations.
The check-in routine for Monday’s flight is being tightly controlled. The Hawaiian Airlines ticket counter will open from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The security gate will then open from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. Passengers are reminded that the security gate will close precisely at 1:45 p.m. without exception. As such, those who miss the closing time will not be able to board.
Finally, everyone is encouraged to say their farewells and tofas at home. The airport will close at 10:30 a.m. to all non-passengers. Only passengers and airport employees will be allowed at the airport after 10:30 a.m. Only those people traveling will be allowed to exit their vehicles during the curbside drop-off.
