Le Mamanu is the theme of an upcoming fashion show sponsored by Miss American Samoa Inc. (MASI) and the American Samoa Basketball Association. It’s happening March 6th at the Lee Auditorium and will feature models of various ages and sizes sporting designers’ creations on the runway for the first time.
There are no corporate tables for the event; just tickets. Seating will be in the style of fashion shows off island with individual seats on both sides of the catwalk.
Miss American Samoa Epifania Petelo and MASI President Mrs. Meafou Imo says there’s been great response from the community.

The show will feature early-Christianity wear, traditional attire, evening gowns and sports wear. Several former Miss American Samoa’s will also display traditional wear used in the last Miss Pacific Islands pageants as well as the reigning Miss American Samoa’s traditional wear.
