The one confirmed coronavirus case from the group of arrivals on the October 14, Hawaiian Airlines flight was released this morning from the Tafuna Alternate Care Facility. This is according to Director of Health Motusa Tuileama Nua.

The individual was the only traveler of the 278 passengers on that flight who had a positive coronavirus test result.

He was tested on the third day after arrival and after he tested positive was removed from the Fatuoaiga quarantine site and moved to the DOH Alternate Care Facility where he spent an additional 14 days in isolation.

Like the previous three cases who tested positive, the individual was asymptomatic and was never sick or showed symptoms of coronavirus. He was fully vaccinated.

The next Hawaiian Airlines flight is tonight and according to Motusa 263 passengers are expected.

They will be quarantined at Tradewinds Hotel, Sadies by the Sea and Fatuoaiga Center.
