StarKist Samoa has a new Plant Manager

StarKist Samoa has a new Plant Manager. He is Mr Injoa Ha who takes over from Mr Jason Kim who recently ended his 3 year tenure with the local cannery.

Mr Kim is credited with leading StarKist Samoa in achieving many accomplishments including the highest volume produced in a day. He also led the workforce during one of the darkest periods of the plant, when four employees were killed in an early morning accident last December.

At his going away party, Mr. Kim was presented a banner size canvas with a photo of himself surrounded by Packing Room employees. The banner is adorned with tofa messages and well wishes for Mr Kim who said a photo with the employees was all he wanted as a going away gift.

His replacement, Mr Ha, joins StarKist Samoa after overseeing StarKist operations in Senegal.
