The LBJ Hospital  is relaxing some of the restrictions which have been in place since the community transmission of Covid in February.

A press release from the hospital today said, “After careful monitoring of data for daily and cumulative positive COVID-19 cases and COVID- 19 admissions, the hospital will downgrade its COVID-19 Pandemic Response from Code Red to Code YELLOW effective on 29 August, 2022.

“This decision was based on the steadily low and declining covid 19 cases .”

The Outpatient Clinics and Clinical Services will resume normal hours.

Masking and social distancing will be enforced on the premises.

Patrons will be able to utilize parking spaces that were  barricaded for the Covid-19 response. The security staff is available to provide assistance as needed.
