DWYA and ASBA host Q&A on ConCon amendments

The American Samoa Bar Association and the Department of Youth and Women Affairs are holding a question and answer panel discussion on the proposed constitutional amendments that will be on the ballot on November 8th. This takes place next Wednesday, October 26th, at the Lee Auditorium.

Lornalei Meredith of the Bar Association says, this is an opportunity for the public, especially the youth, to have a better understanding of the proposed amendments so they can make an educated decision when they vote on them.

Featured speakers are Tapaau Dr. Dan Aga, Director of the 2022 Constitutional Convention, Attorney General Fainuulelei Ala’ilima-Utu, Deputy Attorney General Roy Hall and private attorney Charles Alailima.

The discussion, which is open to the public, will be from 5 to 6:30 pm at the Lee Auditorium, on Wednesday, October 26th.
