
The LDS missionary doctors and their wives, who saw patients in Manu’a last week, were impressed with the close-knit community and traditional lifestyle and diet of residents.
During their week in Ofu and Tau, the team got a glimpse of the way of life in the islands.
Nurse Sr. Allison Carter, wife of cardiologist Dr. Eric Carter, said she enjoyed the one-on-one sessions with the patients, where she got to ask questions about their daily routines.
