Free Medical Clinic by Mission Minded & Lions begins today at ASCC MPC

Residents of American Samoa will enjoy the services of a free medical clinic starting today. Mission minded, a group of doctors and medical specialist from the United States, are in the territory to provide ice screenings, dental services, and medical check ups.

The multi-purpose center at American Samoa Community College was buzzing with activity yesterday as mission members and the lions club of Pago Pago set up the auditorium for clinic activities. Included in the set up, our Seven Mobile, dental stations, two mobile ice cream stations, and a medical check up area.

Men and women were gathered as early as 3AM outside the auditorium to get in line for the free clinic. Those services will be given out on a first come first served basis, clinic organizers, have assured everyone that process will move quickly and smoothly, allowing them to see many patients each day.

The clinic staff will take Saturday and Sunday to rest and will then resume the clinic on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday with a half day on Thursday.

Lions club of Pago Pago organizer, Tafa Tupuola welcomes anyone interested in seeing a doctor, eye doctor or dentist. Among the many services they are offering are free teeth cleaning, tooth extractions and medical consultations.
