National politics continues on a local level tonight with the Republican Party of American Samoa holding their presidential caucus.
Chairman Taulapapa Will Sword said part of the process will be selecting the delegates to represent American Samoa at the Republican Convention this summer.

In addition to selecting the delegates, they’ll also be endorsing Congresswoman Uifaatali Amata, and formally voting for former President Donald Trump as this year’s Republican presidential nominee. The event is at the Naumati Room at Tradewinds Hotel and begins at 5:30 this evening.
