Entrepreneur and women’s advocate Luisa Kuaea has announced she is running for American Samoa’s seat in the US Congress in the November general elections.
She says in a statement, “My heart yearns for the people of American Samoa. For the children. For the women. For the veterans. They all deserve so much more.”

Kuaea adds that as a community champion, she knows how to navigate the complexities of government to deliver real results for the people.
“As a proponent of conscious capitalism, I know how to balance the interests of shareholders and stakeholders – to create win-win solutions for the people.
“I know that I can help minimize the obstructions and gaps in federal policy, programs, and benefits that the people of American Samoa deserve.”
