Last Thursday, Governor Lemanu P.S. Mauga welcomed the Australian High Commissioner to Samoa, William Carter Robinson and his Secretary, Madisson Grace King to American
Samoa.
Both leaders expressed a commitment to strengthening ties between Australia and American Samoa. They also discussed potential opportunities for future collaboration, emphasizing the importance of working together to address common challenges and achieve shared goals.
Mr. Robinson was appointed as High Commissioner of Australia to Samoa early this year.
He was most recently Director, Investment Team, Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific. He has previously served overseas in Papua New Guinea and the Philippines.
