The National Weather Service, in partnership with the American Samoa Department of Homeland Security, held its Annual Tropical Cyclone Workshop on Thursday and Friday at the Naumati Conference Room.
Running from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM each day, the workshop addressed crucial topics to help American Samoa prepare for the 2024-2025 tropical cyclone season, including cyclone outlooks, hurricane forecasts, and best practices for emergency planning.
