Peery, President and CEO of Territorial Bank of American Samoa (TBAS), announced the bank’s generous donation of $25,000 to support Operation Gratitude, an initiative aimed at delivering care packages to veterans in American Samoa. This contribution will allow the assembly and distribution of 2,000 packages filled with items of encouragement and appreciation.
During the live interview, Mr. Peery shared TBAS’s commitment to honoring those who have served. “Our veterans have given so much to protect our community. This is our way of saying thank you,” he said. “We’re proud to partner with Operation Gratitude and to show our appreciation.”
Operation Gratitude’s care packages contain snacks, hygiene products, and personal notes to bring joy and acknowledgment to veterans. With TBAS’s support, these packages will reach veterans across American Samoa, with a community assembly event planned to foster connection and gratitude for their service.
