The Senate yesterday received nomination letters for three members of the Pulaalii and Pulu administration for confirmation.
They are Taaga Saite Moliga as Commissioner of Public Safety, Tapumanaia Galu Satele as Director of the Department of Youth and Women Affairs, and Taeaotui Punaofo Tilei as Director of the Department of Public Works. The three are the first cabinet members of the new administration, whose nominations have been submitted to the Fono for confirmation.
Governor Pulaalii Nikolao Pula asked that the Senate President and his colleagues review and confirm the three director nominees.
The Fono is going on a one-week recess after today’s session and will resume on January 27.
