Treasury is releasing more tax refund checks Friday, March 21.
Batches 4 and 5 includes refunds for taxpayers who filed between January 31st and part of February 3rd. The refunds will be disbursed through direct deposits, the Post Office and pick up at the Disbursing Office . The value of the checks and a breakdown of local, ACTA and Earned Income Credit checks was not included in the announcement from Treasury.
Those who filed on the dates mentions but don’t receive their refunds are asked to contact the Tax Office.
This is the third consecutive week that tax refunds are issued which is in line with Treasurer Donald Kruse’s announcement that they will release refunds weekly.
