The Olympic diving legend, Greg Louganis, is here to film a segment of an Emmy Award winning show on PBS, Family Ingredients,
Host of the show, Chef Ed Kenney, and the production company from Hawaii that produces the show for PBS, Rock Salt Media, traveled from Hawaii with Louganis, Thursday night.
His manager, Beth Zinman said under contractual agreements she cannot discuss details of the visit.
Bu,t she said, Greg is excited and happy to be here.
Zinman said she gave up her seat on the trip to American Samoa so that Malcolm Lutu, a half brother of Louganis who lives in Honolulu could accompany him.
Lutu is a former Honolulu Police officer.
The show, Family Ingredients, tells stories through simple recipes with family being a focus. Louganis and the group, who arrived Thursday night, are here till Monday.
He will be visiting the family of his biological father, Fouvale Lutu, in Fagatogo while here.
