The annual speech festival will be staged tomorrow at Tafuna High School.
Tafuna was the overall winner of last year’s speech festival and reports from the Warriors campus say students and teachers are all out to defend their title.
This year Kananafou will not be competing, but Manu’a High School will be in the line up for the festival which starts with an assembly at 8am.
Students will compete in impromptu speech, monologue, oral interpretation poetry, dual acting, original script writing, and contemporary choral recitation.
Schools participating are Leone, Tafuna, Samoana, Votech, Fagaitua, Manu’a High School, Faasao Marist, Iakina, South Pacific Academy and Pacific Horizons.
The speech festival is one of the popular competitions on the school calendar and students and teacher go all out to impress.
The public is invited.
