ASG’s new tugboat was involved in a towing operation the day after it arrived in port.
Last Thursday, the tugboat went out to assist an Asian longliner that lost engine power and needed to be towed into port.
Peggy H responded and successfully towed the longliner in.
Asked when the tugboat ‘s name will be changed to Iseula, Deputy Director of Port Christopher King says paper work has to be filed later this week with the US Coast Guard and there’ll be a waiting time of a few weeks before the tugboat can be renamed Iseula.
