Denver Broncos nose tackle Domato Peko got emotional when he spoke yesterday about his reason for wanting to support the new health center being built by Hope Mission Ministries in Tafuna.
He said on his trips to the territory he would see first hand the conditions of our only medical facility when members of his family got sick.
He also saw that people sometimes had difficulty finding money to pay to see the doctor.
Now he and his wife Anna are putting up the whole cost of the Domato and Anna Hope Medical Center, which will begin construction next month.
Before he hopped on the Hawaiian Air flight this morning to return to the mainlan, Domata spoke on the Samoa Sunrise Show.
