A Memorandum of Understanding which was signed this morning between ASG and the US Army Reserve paves the way for personnel from the Department of Public Safety to use the newly opened Modular Small Arms Range at Tafuna.
Signing the MOU were Acting Governor-Attorney General Talauega Eleasalo Ale and Commissioner of Public Safety Le’i Sonny Thompson on behalf of ASG and Brigadier General Douglas Anderson, Commanding General of the 9th Mission Support Command.
Charles Djou, Senior Attorney for the 9th MSC was the master of ceremony at the signing at the Army Reserve Center this morning.

The MOU is for five years and according to Djou, only those who have passed certification set by the US Department of Justice can use the facility.
