Le Taupou Manaia Dance Academy-American Samoa is doing a toy drive for children in Samoa and a raffle and a silent auction on line to raise money in aid of Samoa’s response to the measles epidemic.
Those who donate a toy will get a chance to enter a raffle.
They can also win raffle tickets by sharing or tagging the toy drive poster on Taupou Manaia’s Face Book page.
The raffle tickets are also sold at locations advertised on the same page.
In addition, Le Taupou has opened a silent auction on line, for mainly clothing by top designers and other items donated by various businesses.
Bidders can post their bids for each item on Le Taupou Manaia’s FB page.
The bidding opened totay and will close on December 18. The items on auction will be awarded to the top bidders. And if the top bidders fall through then the item will be awarded to the second highest bidder.
Fashion names such as TAV, MENA, Lalelei, Exclusive by Off Da Rock, J Len T’s, and Cecilia’s Fashion House have donated clothing for the silent auction.
