A passenger on board last night’s Hawaiian Air flight from Pago Pago to Honolulu is now behind bars in Hawaii.
This morning at Honolulu International Airport, Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents with the assistance of Hawaii State Sheriff Deputies, arrested Togio Aumoeualogo, a resident of American Samoa.
Aumoeualogo was en-route to Honolulu aboard Hawaiian Airlines Flight #466 from Pago Pago.
FBI Supervisory Agent in Charge, Matthew MacDonald says Aumoeualogo is accused of interfering with a flight crew, a crime with a statutory maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment.
He is accused of being belligerent on the flight, biting a flight attendant, and threatening the flight crew.
His initial appearance has not been set as of this time.
