There’s been overwhelming show of love and support for the victims of the deadly crash at StarKist Samoa and their families.
Yesterday students and staff of Fagaitua High School took up a collection for a daughter of one of the victims, Mr Taumaoe Filipo.
Principal Suaese Pooch Taase said, “…it was sudden and the right thing to do for our student Aioo Filipo…” The impromptu collection raised $864 which was handed to the grieving student “as a generous gift from her Viking family.”
One of Mr Filipo’s children in the mainland is also trying to get a seat on the next Hawaiian airlines flight to come home for her father’s funeral.
The family is asking any of the confirmed passengers on the January 6, 2022 flight to please give up their seat for her.
