Samoa is again set to be the location of the Australian Survivor reality television series starting next month.
Australian television blogger David Knox wrote that the format for the latest series will have a Heroes vs Villains theme and the filming is slated to start August 1 when cast and crew arrive.
“Australian Survivor looks to be heading back to an oceanside setting (yay!) with reports filming will take place in Samoa in August,” he wrote.
KHJ News can confirm that pre-production work has started at the Faleolo Golf Course after local workers said they were “building things” for Survivor.
Samoa production company Sleeping Giants has been advertising extensively for production workers for an overseas production.
“You will be working 5-6 days a week and will need to be available from early August for at least 3 weeks, with preference given to those who can commit to the full 8 weeks,” says the advertisement.
Matareva Resort in Lefaga which has now been taken over by the village is said to be the filming location for the new season.
Australian Survivor filmed their first two seasons in Samoa with other seasons in Fiji and Queensland, Australia.
