The distribution of 2023 Summer P-EBT benefits for School Year 2022–2023 begins next Monday, August 21, instead of tomorrow as announced earlier, according to an announcement from Director of Human and Social Services Muavaefaatasi John Suisala.
The Summer 2023 P-EBT Summer benefits is funded through a $2 million Food and Nutrition Service grant from the US Department of Agriculture. The coupon value, according to an earlier press release from DHSS is $139 per child.
The schedule for the one time mass issuance is according to alphabetical order, based on the first letter of the last name of the parent or authorized representative of students who have been approved to receive their 2023 Summer P-EBT benefits.
If the online registration for your child’s P-EBT benefits has not been approved by the date of issuance that is listed in the schedule, you’re asked to wait for the next mass issuance schedule to be announced by the ASNAP Office, which will start on September 11.
Director Muavaefa’atasi reminds all parents and authorized representatives who are part of this round of mass issuance to please help them provide timely services by following the schedule.
DHSS also reminds parents that September 15, 2023 is the last day to register qualifying students for 2023 Summer P-EBT assistance via the online portal at www.asnap.as.
All 2023 Summer P-EBT benefits are valid from August 21 through January 31, 2024.
September 29, 2023, is the last day for authorized representatives to retrieve 2023 Summer P-EBT benefits.
