The course is called Natural Disaster Awareness for Caregivers.
It’s a FEMA-CERTIFIED TRAINING with TWO FREE SESSIONS AVAILABLE.
The course will be held twice; on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13 and THURSDAY, MARCH 14 from 8 AM - 12 PM. You can attend either day at the American Samoa Community College upper campus in the Pacific Center In Human Security Training Room.
Gain a greater understanding of natural hazards, risk, vulnerability, and disaster preparedness to build better resilience for at-risk individuals receiving care for medical, functional, or access needs. Learn how to prepare for the impacts of local natural hazards, identify methods for assisting care receivers to prepare for natural disasters, and identify appropriate preparedness actions to take during a disaster.
